Frequent urination at night time.

I am 79, I take 0.75 Mg. of Alprozolam at night for sleep since last 18 years.
I get up usually 2 or 3 times for urination during nitht time. Few days back on consecutie two days I had to go to bathroom for 10 to 12 times in the night.
I got lower abdomen sono-graphy the report is as under.
Kidneys are normal in size.( approximately 8.5 cm.) with smooth regular contour. Renal cortical echogenecity is within normal limits. And cortical differentiation is adequate. No pelvicaliceial dilatation is seen.
Ureters are un-dilated.
Urinary bladder is normal in size. And contour with mild trebeculated walls echofree lumen.
There is no significan past void residue.
Prostate measures 4.0x2.7x3.0cm with normal echo structure.
URINE- ANALYSIS IS NORMAL.
I was asked to take valium or increase the dose of Alprozolam. And was not prescribed any specific drug for the bladder.
I am doing kegel exercises off and on. Pleas suggest appropriate pelvic floor exercises if indicated. Is self prostate massage beneficial or damaging? Can there be any explanation why on two nights, I had more than usual urination? Pleas guide me and oblige. Thanks

It is a pleasant surprise to receive the reply to my two old messages. Now I am taking 1 mg. of alprozolam and 5 mg. of  zolpidine.(zolpidine added since last four months. Alprozola is reduced from 2 mg. to 1 mg. However still I have to visit bathroom 3 times in the night.I have disturbed sleep till date.My B P. was 170/80. So was put on B blocker plus diuretic. Now BP is 130/80. I have still to titrated myB.P medicine dosage.B.P drugs are Nobivolol hydrochloride 5 mg. and 12.5 mg. of hydrochlorthiazid. T3 is100ng/dl(normal range is 60-200) I also do holistic therapy-yoga, acupressure. massage, Reiki etc. I am now 81. I am almost deaf, depending on hearing aid to communicate. I have eye issues as well. I got tinnitus since last 35 yrs. I have yet to have any life threatening disorder. I surf for holistic therapies and sexual disorder.  I am interested in sexual literature specially in Tantric sex and advise in the forum. Personally my sexual acivity stopped at the age of 70. My wife died in2004. It is believed that sexual energy is converted into mental energy and mental energy into spiritual one. So this is my hobby since many years. I did yoga from my childhood as I passed 4 years of schooling in an asram(religious hostel) So I am used to yoga and I pass my time in yoga and surfing. I do not have any other activity. Yes , i would like to continue our communication.

It's a long time since you posting. I hope I can contact you. I take .50mg alprazolam to control anxiety. I taken midazolam 3.25mg to sleep. I worry about dependency on thiese benzodiaepam and see with interes hat you have taken it for many years. I also take 75 Levothyroxine and am encouraged by your taking it for so many years. What was yor Free T3 in your ast test?. Undotuanately I have heart problem and have to takje three drugs which compicate matters. I hope we can correspond. I am 83.

I may add that i am hypothyroidic and taking 100 mcg  Thyroxin. I am gerring t4,t3,and tsh checked up every twe years.It is since 25 yrs.
what extra test shoul i undergo ?
I am also having stiffness in my feet. Neurological reflexes are normal.These sensations are since 4 years. No etioloby is known.Just before the tightness of feet, i had sensation of pusation in the centre of the root of penis.Pulsations were not painful and only for few seconds.That too for 3 days before the tihtness of feet. Sometimes i feel that i have put on socks or tight shoes.This type of sensations are since last 4 yrs.
I was a smoker for 50 years. Since last 4 yrs, I have stopped smoking. I wonder whether the tightness in feet and the bladder problem are related? I do not have diabetis,B2 deficiency, No iron deviciency and no blood pressure. Sorry for the unorganised case history.
