I have a large golf ball size SpermatoceleScrotal masses Spermatocele (Epididymal Cyst) which I have had for ten years, I had left it alone until now but the size is getting so big, that it is getting uncomfortable. I want to have it surgically removed and I am curious what the surgey is like and what side affects I might have after surgery.
Hi,
Usually, if the spermatoceleScrotal masses Spermatocele is small in size and asymptomatic, its best left alone. However, if it’s large in size and symptomatic, spermatocelectomy is done. Sometimes, the pain may persist after the surgery. However, if it’s as big as a golf ball size, it has to removed. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
