Having very weak orgasms for a little while now

by Praetorian27, Nov 03, 2009 03:09PM
Hello, I am a 36 year old husband and father of 3.  For the past 8 months or so I have been having very weak orgasms during sex.  No erectile disfunction at all, everything else seems normal.  But when my wife and I are having sex, the finish is not what it used to be.  There is very little quantity, and the thrusting, strong feeling is gone.  What does come out, does so with very little force at all.

I have also noticed that when I urinate the strength is gone as well.  It almost seems to "fall" out instead of being forced out.  Even when I have to go, when I finally am going it feels like there is a lot more that wants to come out but can't.  When I am finishing urinating, it is more like slowly turning down the faucet on a hose until there is finally a lot of dripping.  I actually have to squeeze a few times to get the last bits out, (not unlike milking a cow!)  Time for a urologist?

Thanks!

From you description, it sound as though there is some obstruction in your urethra., either functional or physical. A narrowing/scarring of the urethra, prostatic changes seen with aging, some medications (in particular, orally ingested decongestants), changes in the nerves that control the bladder and prostate can cause what you describe. Yes, it is time to see a urologist and these problems are usually treatable.
