I'm a 33 year old and concerned about my PSA/prostate. Back in 2008 I was diagnosed with Prostatitis and went through some anti-bacterial treatment. Within a couple of months I started to feel better and have been tracking my PSA since.
May 2008 - PSA 4.5
July 2008 - PSA 3.9
April 2009 - PSA 3.1
Nov 2010 - PSA 3.0
I'm concerned because my primary care physician suggest my PSA should be below 2.5. I don't experience any problems such as problems peeing, pain or blood in urine. I've scheduled an appointment to meet with a urologist next week but in the mean time wanted to reach out to the community to get an idea on what this could be. Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond.
