High Urea/Creatinine Ratios in Blood and Urine

I have a quite elevated blood BUN/Creatinine (calculated 21, ref. 9-20) and a very elevated ratio in the urine (spot) at 32 (ref. 2.5-2.8). Both urea and creatinine value in blood and also in urine are within lab ref. ranges. I am concerned but my doc is not and said the urine spot is not really relevant. He did not really look the ratio of the blood values,

Should I be concerned and intervene somewhere?

I tend to have a moderately higher protein intake in my diet. I am 57 with mild symptoms of BPH and an elevated post void residual which is being treated with tamsulosin.
