Hi, can you tell me about the pain that comes when prostate cancer has spread to bones such as the

Hip pain? I'm 46 and have been treated for prostatitis a couple of times in the past, the last time being 8 months ago. Each time, my doctor has treated me with antibiotics and the symptoms have gone away within 2-4 weeks.
I'm having what I think is a recurrence of it now (pain in left

Hip pain before. Reading various descriptions of prostate problems on the web has made me very anxious because I've read that prostate cancer can spread to the hip and cause pain. The pain I have is all on the left side (same as the testicle that aches) and is more of a dull ache that comes and goes rather than extreme pain. I'm on my 4th day of antibiotics and a little of the testicle pain has gone away but I still feel pain in my hip.
At the risk of sounding like a hypochondriac, I'm hoping you can can help me better understand how far along one must be before prostate cancer spreads. I'm driving myself crazy while I wait for lab results, and just want to try and ease my mind. Thank you for your time.
