How do they remove a double J stent? I just went in to the hospital two days ago and found out I had large kidney stones, they did surgery, and put a Double J Stent in me. Said it has to be in for about 10 days, my question is simple "How do they remove it", all the nurse would tell me that its done in doctors office and not painful, but couldnt tell me how. They di not tie a string onto it (like my former surgery in 2007) but its just in there, i just wanna know how will they pull it out, will i be knocked out? Thanks
