Primary infertility has a stronger association with
varicoceles rather than hydroceles. That being said, I cannot guarantee that there will be zero risk of infertility if the procedure is delayed.
I would discuss this specific question with your urologist - if there continues to be confusion on this point, another urological opinion can be sought.
