Hypersensitive UT

I am a 63 year old male.

For most of my life have had a hypersensitive urinary tract.
Everything burns, or almost everything.

I had been doing well, but wanted to try some B Complex vitamins to try to help with fasciculations (twitches).
I took the first Vitamin B Complex and it has my UT feeling uncomfortable and slight burning.  It also has made my urine a bright yellow.  This discomfort makes me feel bad a little, all over.  What on earth could be in a B Vitamin that would irritate the urinary tract?  I find something to help one problem, I start having another!

Thanks

It was a rather high dose supplement that you were on.  A lower dose supplement may be better, or better yet, a really good multi from online or a really good health shop.

Hello Compnet,

I don't know what is happening to me.  Night before last, something hit me and I went into panic and shaking badly, and feeling "not right".  I had taken just one of those overpowered B vitamins.  When I went to bed, I know I had fever but don't have a thermometer now.  I am better now, but not feeling well. I am hitting the water heavy.  I am going to leave a specimen at the Dr. office today.  I always feel bad when the UT is "torn up" from irritation, yet never have infections.  But the fact that I feel bad is not good. I can't tolerate antibiotics.  They make me very sick.

I've not taken another B vitamin since the other night, and won't.

I read that it's the riboflavin (B2) that turns it neon colored.  It's very common.

For the pain, try drinking lots of water each day.  If that still doesn't help, I'd lower the dose of B Complex Vitamins.
