Ok i am a smoker... Been smoking for past 3 years. I am 23 years old and decided to quit smoking like 4 or 5 days ago and today when i was sitting in class i noticed that my balls started hurting alittle bit so i went the the mens room to have a look and i was shocked. my underpant area near my balls was wett !!! i have never had this kind of problem before and for the past 4 days i have been taking Nicotine Gum 4mg....but i thought to cold turkey it as well and i was ok till like 12 noon this morning without the gums but my bladder started leaking...now it was raining in the morning a little bit so i thought it was due to that but now when i got home and washed the area and applied talcum powder its getting wet . Please help me i do not have health insurance.


Now i am not sure if the skin burning ( balls sack ) is due to wearing wet underpants or if i am into a situation here

I am so pissed off that i am facing problems after quitting it that i started smoking again ! Please help me.. i am freaking out....i live alone so i need to know if its something serious.

Yes, i am glad i am ok now but i hope i am not in some sort of future disaster...if you know what i mean. I know this thing is not normal,and might be some sort of health issue but as this point i am least concerned about it...i am trying to get a job and save up so that i can move in with my gf so spending on check ups is the last thing on my list.

Thanks Sherrie i feel much better now, yesterday i was really freaked out and i am perfect now. no more of that. But i am still curious why that happened to me. If its not related to cold turkey smoking then why it never happened to me before and why now that i tried quitting ? I started smoking again...and i am fine the way i am. i am NEVER going to quit smoking ever again ! that's one thing i have strongly decided. Might sound stupid but i would say i am fine just the way i am right now with the cigarette in my hand rather then wett balls ...which is not at all good.

I really appreciate all the effort you put in to answer my problem and also my apologies for posting it understand wrong section,was too messed up to look into anything.

Side effects of nicotine gum are mouth tingling, mouth sores, increased saliva, indigestion, headache, possibly nausea, vomiting, lightheadedness, dizziness or insomnia. Allergic reaction might be rash, pounding heart, or trouble breathing. I don't know of it causing the problems you are stating but if there is a 24 hour pharmacy near you, you can brain pick a pharmacist while waiting for someone at the Urology Forum of Medhelp to get back to you.

I'm guessing the symtoms you are displaying are unrelated to quiting smoking, there may be something else going on. Try to remain calm until you get resolution, I know it's hard not to freak out under these circumstances but getting rattled will probably only make the symptoms worse. Often local hospitals have a nurse hotline that you can call for insight.

The Urology Forum is pretty quick at getting back to people who post so I believe you will have some info soon. Hang in there Z, I'm sure the irritation on your testicle sack is related to the wetness in the area. We'll try to get some info to you asap!
