I had a varicocele surgery and it's returning?

I recently had a varicocele surgery on October 9th, 2009. My doctor said it would take about 6-weeks before I could go back to my normal routine. But about 3-4 days ago my varicocele veins returned and I am in pain. Although I don't think they're as big or what not as before but they're there.
Does it have to do with the fact that recently I began taking 3,000-5,000mg of Vitamin C cause I heard it would help relieve me of the blood clot that formed after the surgery.
please help
