I have a Lump on my right test

I have a lump on my right test which is tender,i have flue like symtoms (symptoms) and fever.I think it is an infection,if so how long can
I waite before I need medication.

There are several causes of testicular masses.  Things like cancer tend to be painless.  The association with fever suggests that this can be an infectious process.  

Epidymitis and prostatitis would be the things you want to rule out.  Tests to evaluate for this would include a urinalysis, STD testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea, digital rectal exam to evaluate the prostate, and a scrotal ultrasound.

It is likely that antibiotics would be necessary to treat this - I suggesting an evaluation by a physician ASAP.
