I have a red bump on my penis.

I don't think it's a sexual problem.. but it was the closest topic choice available. I took a shower and noticed a red bump in the middle of my penis. It hurts when touched and it resembles a pimple or a large mosquito bite. I haven't had sex in a couple months and I've only had sex with that one person and I know she doesn't have anything because she's gone to the doctor to get checked for everything. What could this be?

Without examination,confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis,rash due to friction rub,folliculitis,cysts or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).
Apply warm compresses,Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it.You can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen.If the lumps persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
