Hi!
I'm a T6 Incomplete paraplegic who up until about 2 years ago I was doing intermintent cathing which got really old and annoyoing so I had a Super Pubic Catheter put in!  Granted I absolutely love the easiness of it but unfortunatly I ended up having to deal with a bladder infection almost every other month!  I just got out of the hospital yesterday after being in there for 16 days with a horrific infection that attacked my bladder, kidneys & my heart...pulminary adema - woopee!!  My Urologist is going to do a surgery for a more permanent 'catheter situation' - I know that's not what if is but I think the name is Elio Surgio Condiversion!?!  I don't think that's the way to spell it - I know it isn't - but I'd GREATLY appreciate any info that's out there!!  I just really want to make sure that I can still swim with this new thing - 'cuz if I can't I'm NOT doing it!!  Thanks for anyone's help!!
