In China and need Help :(

Hi Doctor, thank you for taking the time to read.

Oct 2007 I started having sharp pains in my penis, the base and end of the shaft.
At this time I was being tested for common STDs which all came back negative.
I explained this to the STD Doc and he said it was probably an inflammation which was common and nothing to worry about.
I went to a Urologist who discovered I had HPV and tested my prostate (semen), urine and blood.  I had a bacteria infection but not serious he said.  I was put on an IV daily and given some Microwave therapy (I think) through my back end.  Time passed and Feb came along and I was still feeling horrible, with sharp pains, deep aching hips and constance aching of the legs, all over starting back/front thighs which moves down. And my HPV came back.

I went back and he had given me an hour injection/tube through the penis (sorry I dont know the names, also Iam in China I have no clue what their doing) and I was on IV for a week.  Ive also had what they call CRS, I lay down and a machine puts off heat to my groin.

Time passed and I returned from a vacation in April where I found for the 3rd time my HPV came back and my leg aches and pains returned.  I was treated for the HPV.
And here Iam again, with tiny sharp pains coming from my penis.  My legs have continued to ache for the last 5-6 months, with only a day to hours of comfort.  Iam freaking out, I feel absolutely hopeless.

I read this prostate **** never leaves and just living with it is something I could never do, cant do.  Not a day passes that my mind is not on this.
Are my legs aching because the prostate?  What can be done about it? Should I go back to have a blood/urine/protate exam/test?
Should I get an MRI for the legs? Is my HPV causing these sharp pains?
I never had Chlamydia or Syphilis, did the HPV cause the prostate troubles?  I read one man has herpes of the prostate!  I just about passed out!
One thing the doc tested and reasured is I am clear of Herpes, is it possible I have it inside, on my prostate?
I just dont know.  Its really killing me with fear, worry.  The future, what does it hold?  I dont even know what tests to ask for, what to take or turn down.  Ive been spending tones on machines that hook up to my *** and penis.  Machines that send out "waves" of some sort to the groin area.  IV after IV.
I absolutely hate the human body and cant believe things are happening that cant be found, test or understood.
Any light on this, Iam sorry my question is all over the place.  A response would be a God send.  Thank you!

Hi,

Radiation therapy, or brachytherapy, involves the treatment of cancers with radiation from a short-distance source. (intracavitary)

This is the what I think they must have administered to you, even though cancer has not been diagnosed (from what you have told me).
I am unaware of any radiation treatment for bacterial infection of the prostate, nor have I been able to find any further information with regard to the same.

Though the information I have provided here puts matters in a serious light, it is possible that there may be a simple explanation which will be more reassuring than my response here.

Before deciding if their attitude was fraudulent, obtain as much information about what you underwent without being too aggressive. If the healthcare setup becomes defensive to your queries, you will not be able to get a clear picture for yourself.

Do take this information with the right attitude as it is just based on my assumptions from the information you have provided. Reality could be quite different, and I could be wrong.

Regards

Have you heard of the "Microwave" treatment through the backend? sending some "waves" to the prostate?  I was also given treatment with the CRS Machine? I lay down like going in for a CT Scan and "waves" are emitted to the groin area?
Have I been cheated with this type of treatment?  Ive seen other patients use them as well? Waves, like I havent a clue?

I shall have a prostate test, urine and blood test tomorrow. I dont have pain urinating as I said but at times it feels like something is crawling in my penis at the base.  Nerves or stress, I havent a clue.
Thanks for the advice I shall start the Vitamin B and Cod Oil Capsule soon.
Iam so afraid these doctors are giving me B.S. cheating me out of money.  It doesnt feel like it but some on here have said these Wave Machines are not common or heard of back home.

Hi,

Sleeping without proper back support can definitely cause back pain and sciatica (pain radiating to the legs).

Its unlikely that the prostate problem would present without any other symptom such as pain, burning while urinating, ejaculating, etc.

Bacterial infection would need antibiotic treatment.

Prostatitis can be managed with antibiotics and prostate-specific drugs. The condition is not a problem if handled appropriately.

Try sleeping on a flat surface, may be by putting a couple of rugs on the floor.
Apply heat over the lower back as you lie down. Use a hot-water bag or heating pad.

The back pain needs evaluation by a neurologist/ orthopedician, so do follow-up with these specialists at the earliest.

Start the vitamin B-complex at earliest as they help nerves heal and function better.
Oily fish (sea fish, like cod fish) or cod liver oil capsules 2 per day would also help improve immunity and mood.

HPV is human papilloma virus. In men, it causes genital warts and usually no other symptoms. In women, it causes cervical cancer.

Thank Doctor for replying.  I try but Its hard for proper translation here.  The Doctors seem to be telling me Iam I worry to much, its stress, nerves and so on, but it doesnt feel like it.

My legs are killing me as I type.  I have not had any back problems.  My lower back hurts, I though it was my kidneys but the Doc said no.  I have been sleeping on a couch for over a year, but cant believe that would create such constant throbbing/aching of the legs.
I have never had pain urinating at all, through the 9 months of prostate/HPV treatment.  No discharge.  No pain ejaculating before, during or after.  No sex since Nov.
I did have a bacterial infection of the prostate, had the prostate massage test. For Treatment used the machine into the *** (microwave waves I guess) for a week with IV.  A few months later still pain I had the one hour machine tubes into the penis with IV for a week.

I read that prostitius can come back and stay with people forever.
What about the herpes off the prostate?  I will go on Sunday for a urine, blood, and prostate massage, and have all tested and carefully question new and pervious treatments.  Iam sorry again for not explaining properly.  I just feel its over, like life will never return to normal, I cant even remember what are normal or symptom feeling anymore.  Contact with the "outside world" is nice, thanks Doc.

Hi,

You need to provide a few more pertinent facts.

Were you put on antibiotics for the bacterial infection? Was a culture sensitivity test done?

Are you overweight or have any predisposition to the development of back problems, such as a herniated disc?

Do you smoke?

You need to become a little more aware of the treatments that you consent to, in any part of the world.

An inflammation or infection of the prostate would also produce urinary symptoms, such as pain during anf after urination and ejaculation, increased frequency of passing urine, pain in the perineal region, etc.

Do you have these symptoms also?

HPV is a lifelong infection and cannot be cured or eradicated. It goes through active and latent phases - becoming active in conditions of stress, low immunity, etc.

HPV can cause genital warts in males.

You need to develop a focused approach toward identifying your problem. This could include a repeated urinalysis followed by a culture sensitivity if there are any bacteria.
If yes, a course of antibiotics to which the bacteria is sensitive would be advisable.

If negative for bacteria, it still does not rule out infection and inflammtion of the prostate and you may need to undergo antibiotic treatment for the same, alon with a few medications specific for the prostate symptoms.

If you think the problem could be related to a back condition, such as a herniated disc, you will need a counsultation with a neurologist and an MRI.

Meanwhile you can do the following to obtain some relief:

Drink at least 2000 ml of fluids per day.
Increase intake of vitamins B, C, and A, along with  DHA-rich foods.
Use a heating pad for the back pain.
Use condoms to avoid infecting sexual partners with HPV.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and spicy foods.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
