Inner foreskin thickenning

For the past several months I've notived a thickening or growth at my inner foreskin at about where the foreskin connects to the shaft which seems go all around almost forming a "ring". It is more easier to feel when erect. Is it cause for concern or could it by due to frequent sex or masturbation? No pains or itches. I am 33 and uncircamcised. Can you help?
