Insertion sensitivity

I have sensitivity and some minor burning and discomfort when inserting  catheter. There is no infection and no blockage. Happens nearly every time
Is there any special lubricant or other to numb the area when inserted for a day or so till it normally goes away??

Hi there!

Though there are lubricants that would cause insensitivity, the symptoms could be due to trauma, infections, inflammations, growths/ masses etc. I would suggest discussing the situation with your treating urologist for suggestion of an appropriate management plan.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
