Intersitital Nephritis
I'm a 46 year old male diagnosed with interstitial nephritis due to long-term lithium treatment, from age 19 to 31.  My nephrologist says that my prognosis is good; creatinine levels have fluctuated between 1.4 and 1.9 over a ten-year period.  My problem right now is very frequent urination that is getting increasingly difficult to live with.  I need go to the bathroom sometimes twice an hour and wake up, with urgency, 2-3 times per night.   Flomax is prescribed for frequent urination due to enlarged prostate, but is not appropriate for kidney problems.  Do you know of a treatment for frequent urination due to kidney dysfuntion?
