Interstitial Cystitis

Is there a cure for interstitial cystitis? Or should I just stick with drinking marshmallow root tea and taking Cystoprotek? How long will it take for the bladder to heal? Thank you!

I can't take Elmiron, it made me sick...

Hello,
Elmiron is the chief drug used in interstitial cystitis. Other drugs include include antidepressants, antiseizure medication gabapentin and phenazopyridine hydrochloride. You can discuss about these treatment options with your urologist and get them prescribed.
