Is Masturbating Using Pressure Safe?

I've been wondering if masturbating specifically with the use of pressure is just as safe as "normal" masturbating?

I've been masturbating this way on average probably 1-2 times a week, sometimes more or less, for the past 9 years or so. I used to use pressure to masturbate when I actually did not have an erection  - by applying enough pressure from a cushioned stool or something similar, I was able to have great orgasms. However, I stopped using pressure this way a couple years ago after I did this naked (bad idea!!) and broke the skin of my penis.

I still however have been using pressure to masturbate when I do have an erection. I can use any surface, but usually a bed mattress. With an erection I start applying force mostly to the base of the shaft, which kind of pulls back the entire penis - I gradually apply more and more pressure until climax is reached. Again, I don't masturbate this way most of the time, but probably 1 or 2 times a week.

It may seem silly, but I'm only concerned because in a certain comedian's act, they mention specifically that they heard that masturbating with pressure is not "supposed" to be good for your penis - even though I'm aware this is just a comedian's act, it still got me concerned.

I don't notice any damage that has been done or health concerns with my penis and I've been doing this off and on for 9 years, but is it safe in the long term? I just want to know if masturbating with pressure in these ways described above can somehow be more dangerous, or be a cause of concern or cause any damage, short or long term?

i used to do this almost everyday growing up. probably since i was in the 2nd grade. i could never masturbate the normal way so i used that same pressure technique instead. i learned to just use my hands (laying my shaft on them) instead of hard surfaces (usually laying in a bed). i finally could masturbate properly only after my first time having sex (16 years old). i attribute the size and slight curve in my penis to all those years. my penis in high school was close to 9 inches. now since i learned the 'proper' way to masturbait it is around 7 inches and still a bit curved. i didnt lose the curve but definately lost the size.  it hasnt screwed me up (im 24). if anything, it gave me a larger penis when i was doing it. as i said... im only 24 so i have no clue about the long term effects of ejaculating when flaccid. I am also not a doctor.

(Note: I just want to make clear that when I described masturbating using pressure without an erection, it was done with undergarments AND pants (jeans, shorts, whatever) on - and using the edge of a cushioned surface and the pressure of my body weight (holding onto the surface) to add pressure to the top of the penile shaft, pulling back the skin). (I am circumsized).

This is important because wearing underwear as well as pants "cushioned" the pressure applied - I just want to reiterate that doing this naked and possibly with only underwear on is a very bad idea as you can easily break the skin of your penis!!

More detail of the the actual pressure masturbation process: In both cases of masturbating using pressure with or without an erection, the process is basically the same for me. I apply pressure using my body weight to thrust the skin of my penis downwards towards the base of my shaft in a 1-5 second burst, cease pressure for however long (usually a 1-5 seconds, but could theoretically just do one or two pressured thrusts and not climax just for pleasure, or make the intervals minutes to heighten the buildup), then apply another pressured thrust which is usually but not always stronger, and repeat until climax is reached. The difference between not having an erection and having one, is that without an erection, the pressure is applied to the top of the shaft and the skin is pulled back to the base  - with an erection the pressure is applied to the underside of the penis (usually the base of the shaft) and skin pulls back.

Also, to go in a little detail about masturbating using pressure with an erection - Like I said, I can theoretically use the edge of any hard surface and simply "hump it" by just gradually applying more and more force to the shaft until climax is achieved. It appears that the entire penis is being pulled back and it becomes more enlarged as the pressure is applied. However I almost always just use a bed mattress surface - While holding my body up with my arms (or not) like in a missionary position I can simply thrust unto the surface (not the edge) of the mattress and build pressure until climax.

I wanted to add these details and warnings on top of any future replies here that may confirm or deny the notion that in general using pressure to masturbate is harmful.)
