Hello, yes I have had vaginosis in the past but meds like Monostat I cannot take and fluconozole because they make me feel sick. So I just have a cream that I use to help. No other symptoms are present except extreme itching at the tip of my outer labia.
It is good that yeast infection has been ruled out. Are there other signs or symptoms present like discharge? If yes, were you tested for for vaginosis? With your condition occurring every month especially at the end of your cycle implies hormonal changes causing an imbalance or overgrowth of bacteria that are normally in the vagina. The increased discharge also irritates the vagina leading to itching and discomfort. Vaginosis, if present, should first be treated with medications. I hope this helps. Take care and keep us posted.
