Just asking...

Went in for a CT Scan and they found a stone in my right kidney also a cyst on left kidney lower pole.  Should I be concerned.  I always have the urge to go but was given antibiotics for an infection.  The urge is a little better but I still have this weird sensation near bladder.

No change in my urine character except I always have the urge to go, not all the time but at certain times in the day.  Because of this my urine is very light.  It's not pain it's just uncomfortable.  I feel little spasms under my belly button.  As for my diet I am trying to stay away from dairy products.

Hi

Kidney stones may present with a vague discomfort in the flank but would start presenting with pain once the stone gets dislodged and traverses the ureters. The ureteral spasms (contraction of the ureters ) will induce pain which may need immediate management. For stones less than 4 mm, these may pass spontaneously and may only require supportive therapy such as increase in fluid intake.

You may discuss this with your urologist as the type of stones, its location and its size as well as the presence of underlying kidney problems may influence management.

Do you have any change in urine character?

Have you been modifying you diet lately?
