Kidney Stone removal

I had a stone removed in Oct of 2006 after lothotripsy did not work they went in through the uninary tract only got half of the stone left the stent in for about 10 days went back in and got the other half ever since I have been having Kidney pain I have told my Dr he has ordered 2-3 Triple phase CT scan of the Kidney's they have taken Xrays blood work urine test and nothing but here it is almost 2 years and I am still having Kidney pain off and on alwasy in the Left side where I had the stone  It gets worst after I have eaten  can you give me some ideas?

Hi,

A history of previous instrumentation may increase the risk for chronic and recurrent urinary tract infections.

Have you been recently followed up on your kidney pain?

I suggest that you get a follow up consult done so that this persistent chronic pain be properly assessed.This may be secondary to a nerve related problem or an underlying infection or a new case of a kidney or ureteral stone.

Continue intake of adequate amount of fluid.

Keep us posted regarding physician's advise.

I have had numerous Dr Visits since then Like I said have had # CT scans done had ultra scans done  blood work done and urine test done Xrays done all NEG but I am stillhaving this pain  Dr suggested a Upper GI scope down the throat to see whats wrong.  I am still having pain in the left Flank area  I drink Plenty of Water and Cranberry juice to maintain a healthy unirary tract.  Nothing seems to Help  should I get the Upper GI done?
