I met the urologist a month later. I am on one more month of cipro (500 mg this time) and we plan on doing the urine culture to see if hematuria still exists. This time around, the antibiotics do not seem to be working. My symptoms of lack of erection and shrunk penis still exist. I do not have any other symptoms.
Do you have any suggestion as to what is happening?
PS: when I say lack of erection I mean I will not get an erection on watching something dirty but if I stroke it, it will get erect erect but the erection will not be the best I know.
Shrinking: In the non-erect state my penis shrinks to a size I have never seen in the last 18 years. Kindly comment
In your case the cause of hematuria should be diagnosed. That is the clue to your treatment. It will be worthwhile to get all the kidney function tests done. Also prostatitis and epididymitis should be completely ruled out. The second time you did not respond to Cipro is because the bacteria or whatever organism is causing the infection has become resistant to the antibiotic. Get a culture/sensitivity test of urine done. Also get your semen tested for infection.

Are you on any medication for any disease?
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
I am not on any medication for any disease. When my hematuria cambe back positive, Urine culture and Urine analysis was done. Everything else was negative (I don't remember what the other tests were).
Thanks for the post!
