Long in Epididymis left Teste

by Hp720, Jul 16, 2009 04:37PM
First of all I do not know much. I am only 15 and am new to this.
My problem lies in this, for some time now my left teste has been getting larger than my right. Although at closer examination it was not the teste but the sac which holds it. Inside the left sack I found a "tubeing" of some sorts that I assume to be the epididymis. The difference was that the epididymis was much longer on the left side. It winds back and forth within the sack, this is not the case for my right. All this extra weight on my left causes the sack to hang much lower then my right.
Again, this is the first time I have told anybody and I would like to know if something is wrong. And if so what..
Thanks
Harry

HI, It is not abnormal for the left testicle to be slightly larger or to hang slightly lower in the scrotum. It would not be a bad idea to ask a doctor about this since it should be diagnosed by a doctor in person.
If there was something wrong witht he epididymis, you would most likely feel pain when you touch it. Epididymitis would cause the epididims to swell, but this would be painfull too.

All the best Ron
