Yes, to both questions. You may have a tumor in your pituitary gland (at the base of you brain), and these are treatable. You would need to see an endocrinologist to get worked-up.

Thanks for the answer dotcor,

After having a blood test it has showed I have high Prolactin level in my blood, i don't have the figures but my doctor said it is not at dangerous level. As per his diagnose it could be becasue of some stress and depression I've through lately and he prescribed to me 0.5 mg Dostinex to be taken over two weeks (.25 twice a week)

I'm currently in the second week were I still don't feel any improvement, usually how long these medication will take to see the effect?

Also are there any other reasons for high level Prolactin beside phsycological factors and is it treatable?

Thanks

Your history of a sudden change in interest with the demonstration that "the system" works (night time erections, morning erections) points to an emotional cause for the change. Stress, depression, relationship issues are all possible causes. I recommend that you find a sexual therapist in your area and get evaluated and treated.
This problem is treatable, especially with early intervention.
