Low Back Pain, Moves from Tailbone to RIght Side, blood in Urine at the end of urination??

I am a 36 yr old male, I am on blood pressure med's Clonodine, Micardis, Crestor, and aspirin. I am experiencing Erectile Disfunction, Viagra doesnt work. But the story starts About 6 months ago, I went to emergency room without the ability to urinate. I had been being treated for enlarged prostate and was on Flomax. That Saturday morning I woke up and nothing would come out. So at the Hospital they tried to put a cath in 3 times, wouldnt go. Then urologist came in and found that I had a stricture and he used these sharp long straws and with the help of morphine, was able to punch out a hole big enough to get cath in and urine to start flowing. I kept the cath in for 2 weeks. after it was taken out, I had perfect flow but with blood in it. I was told that was normal. About 3 mths ago I started hurting in my lower back, and blood was present only at the end of the urination, would drip out of penis 2 or 3 drops, then pain in my lower back around tail bone moved into my right side. Last weekend I went to bend over and a sharpe pain just about doubled me over and it felt like a pinched nerve? After about 3 days of taking Ibuprofen, I could move again, but the pain is so bad in my right side and blood is getting more red in color after urination. Is the blood still present from the gouging out of the Stricture I had and just never healed up or have I developed something else?? Appendix? Stones? Kidney/Bladder/Urinary tract infection? Which route should I go?

Kidney stones are a possible for blood in the urine and back pain.  A helical CT can be considered to rule this out, and I would obtain this test.

If negative, a cystoscopy can be considered to look for bladder masses or cancer that can lead to blood.

If the kidneys and other urological causes have been ruled out, you can pursue an orthopedic option which may include an MRI of the back.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician, or in consultation with a urologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
