My urologist advices to drink much water and he thinks that they might resolve thereselves. What do you think?
Hello,
It is good that the ultrasound has come out clear. Spermatocele is a retention cyst of a tubule and is benign in nature. Usually they are left as such if not causing any symptom, but if they are causing pain, then they have to be removed. Surgery is the only mode of treatment for their removal.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
I mean nothing wrong with the testicle
Tofst back from THE urologist. Ultrasound was made, there is jogging wrong with the right testicle... Except a spermatocele
Thanks for your support
So each epididymitis will need a followup and ultrasound at the urologist? Gp is not enough I understand from your answer?
Hello,
Since the scrotum has enlarged a bit, it is best to get an ultrasound of the scrotal sacs done. this will confirm the diagnosis and rule out any hydrocele or varicocele. For epeidiymitis, you can geta na ultrasound or nuclear scan done.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
My last question doctor,
My gp did not send me to an ultrasound, but 2 gps did diagnose me for epididymitis, is that enough or I have to have an ultrasound?
Hi doctor,
I went to my gp 2 days ago,
She was telling me that she wants to wait the work of antibiotics.
Now the fluid is less. The right epididymis is still little bigger than the left one. My concern about cancer is still there even I can not feel any solid mass anywhere, not on epididymis and not on testis.
There's a fluid bag in my scrotum, I can separate the testis from the fluid bag/sack.
This is a hydrocele or spermatocele you think?
My pain came back again but not sore pain. Its more like when somebody hold tHe tetis little strong... Might come from th 100 times I examinated my right testis?
Thanks for your time
Thanks Doctor.
The pain is less usual now,, but the water bag in my right scrotum is still there and got little bit bigger. I still can feel the testis...
I now again will go to the gp for check... I will let you know.
The reason why I am in panic, is because that I read that testicular cancer is very quick and should be removed very quickly
Hello,
It looks like epididymitis rather than any cancer. This is more common in young men and may cause a heavy sensation in the testicle area. The area becomes more and more sensitive to pressure.
Epididymitis are caused by sexually transmitted diseases, spread of infection from urinary tract infections or prostate infections, Chlamydia or retrograde (backward) flow of urine when exercising or having sex with a full bladder.
If the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a urologist. You need a physical examination from an urologist along with urine analysis, complete blood count, testicular ultrasound and scan and tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Treatment will depend on the cause.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
