Lump found on penis please help

Alright i am currently 17 years old and this problem started when i was 16 so it was about 4 to 5 months ago that i discovered a small lump on my penis. Also i am still a virgin so I don't think it is an STD. It started out as a small lump on my penis . almost like a small pimple. but then it started to grow, and is now about the size of a penny in width and 3/8 to 1/2inch thick and is only on the skin and is not connected to the shaft. It doesn't hurt but when i squeeze on it, it hurts a little bit. I know i shouldn't have ignored it, but i guess i figured it would go away after a while. It now looks like a a giant lump on my penis. Any suggestions to what it may be would be greatly appreciated.

Since you are a virgin, so it rules out any STD. to me it looks like a cyst. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.
Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected,Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.
Please consult a dermatologist/urologist and get the diagnosis confirmed.
