Lump in Scrotum.

by Scobie, Aug 16, 2003 12:00AM
I am 43 yo, and have discovered two small lumps in my right sac, they were painful and hard grisil like, as if in the tubes, they have now gone, now I have discovered one larger lump in the same area, with the same feeling of pain, and a hard grisel like feeling, this has occurred before, they would come and go, what could be the cause of this, any information would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
Ken.

There are several causes for scrotal masses.  Causes can include masses (i.e. cancer), varicoceles (dilated veins in the scrotum), or cysts (such as epididymal cysts, spermatoceles, or hydroceles).

In any case, the next step should be evaluation with a scrotal ultrasound.  This test can be discussed with your personal physician or urologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
