Lump in penis

I am 18 yrs old, male. In the past few months, i have noticed a small lump forming on my penis(on the upper left side of the shaft) when it is erect(while masturbating mostly). It grows proportional to the size of my penis & is almost negligible when my penis is not erect(though u can still feel it). It doesn't causes any pain at all & it is like having a tiny ball under the skin of the penis(while erect). I can move it with my skin. Apart from this everything is normal.

I didn't give much attention to this in the starting, but now as i think about it, it worries me a lot. I don't have any idea what this lump is. a cancer? a cyst? a what?
I am a virgin and donot smoke & i drink very ocassionaly. Please, help me.

The painless lump that  you are having seems like a sebaceous cyst. A sebaceous cyst is a closed sac occurring just under the skin which contains a "pasty" or "cheesy" looking substance called keratin. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.

Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected,Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.
