I would obtain another opinion if you aren't comfortable with the diagnosis. With any procedure, there is always the possibility of thrombosis. Other considerations in addition to a spermatocele or cyst would be a hydrocele (fluid collection) or another form of testicular mass.
A repeat scrotal ultrasound would be able to see if this is the case. If it continues to be a cyst or evidence of a thrombosed vein another urological procedure should be able to relieve the symptoms.
