Lumps in Groin and thighs, pain in stomach and passing water

I am 43,female, not too long ago went through breast cancer treatment,(2003/4) and still in trouble!

the last two months I noted lumps that came up in my right leg, thighs and groin, quite painful, and now and then it threatens me in my left leg.Butut the lumps come then disapear in left leg. My right leg seems very limited in movement and I've been to the doctor and hospital who have ruled out DVT, Cellulitis and Lymphoma?

I was told by a consultant that he felt that some fatty tissue had lost it's blood supply and the tissue has hardend)But then why does my leg hurt. the skin looks like its being streached and my heel and calf are tender to the touch.

To add to this more recently I now have really bad stomach cramps and passing water is hell, but urine tests says I have no infection? blood tests says that kidneys are fine? and the pain seems to be coming from my uterus? which on examination has been tender and a bit swollen. But I'm not pregnant.

I'm living on pain killers (Co-Codamol) and the pain is pushing past that now.

I also seem to have problems passing stools from time to time, I don't know if everything is connected, but I feel my inner space is a complete mess.

Oh yes! and now I'm getting back pain, and that really scares me as my mother-in-law, who was also a victim of breast cancer, eventully died of breast cancer and there was cancer in her spine.  She had a lot of back pain. I know I might be a bit paranoid now...

I am at my wits end and long to hear what's wrong and how to slove the problem/s.

A scan has been arranged by my GP, but its another two weeks from now (and that's supposed to be an emergency apponitment).

what do you think might be going on with me?

The conditions that you have mentioned are all certainly possible.  With the history of cancer, your physician has to be vigilant to detect any recurrance.

I would assume that an ultrasound has already ruled out a blood clot.  A pelvic CT scan can be considered to evaluate for any lymph nodes or spread of the cancer.  Any suspicious mass can be biopsied for a more definitive diagnosis.

Regarding the back pain - a bone scan or MRI can be considered to ensure there is no cancer spread to the bone.

The stomach symptoms can be evaluated with an upper GI series or upper endoscopy.  A urinalysis and culture can evaluate for any urinary tract infections.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
