MS suferer

My mother has a catheter and is an MS suferer. It gets blocked at least once a week by the build up of a gritty  substance, she has been in and out of hospital several times to try to resolve this , currently has 2 tubes fitted . A super pubic catheter was fitted around 6 months ago but this has not resulted in any improvement, also she has recently been in for her bladder to be washed out ,again with no improvement to the situation.
This problem is causing great inconvenience / pain and she does not know where to turn next (her MS nurse and district nurses have been as helpfull as they can but there appears to be no end to the problem and she is basically housebound with what appears to be a problem which should be resolvable.
Can anyone help ?
