Moving On...

I have posted here before. I am a 22 year old male. I suspected that I had Peyronie's Disease and was just informed by a urologist that I have a mild case.

3 months ago I noticed my penis had curved to the left. Since then it has just stayed where it is. It stopped curving, but has not got better.

I can live with this curve that I have because I have no discomfort whatsoever, but my question is: Will this curve get worse at some point? My urologist said probably not, but I wanted a second opinion.

Thankyou for your kind assistance,

H.

Difficult to say without evaluation.  It is possible that the symptoms may worsen.

Treatment options including injections of medication into the plaque, radiotherapy and surgery are all options if the symptoms worsen.  Of note, some of the injections (like collagenase) as well as the radiotherapy are all in the investigational stages.

These options can be discussed with your urologist, or in conjunction with another opinion.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
