Its alot of people that has like this, I think that it either a new STD, but there are people that havent had sex that has had de same symptoms.
Well my urologisk sais it was a post infectious condition and since I was getting better, which I am, we were gonna wait a bit.
But Im seeing that no one has take medications for candida, could it be candida urethritis? I mean with tablets treatment.
And no one of you havent been treatet properly for ureaplasma urealyticun either. need 30 days with treatment, context for the medicine in Norway.
Have you tried not to use your penis for a while?
My urologist thought also it could be something allergic reaction to my sperm. But actually then you should take an culture of it, havent taken it I.
Hello Doctor,
My name is Oleg,
One year ago, in January 2008, after I had unprotected sex, I started to feel a discomfort in my urethra, opening of urethra was swallowed and very red and shiny. Then I had a strong non-stop burning in my urethra. My doctor did a urine test, and it showed a negative result for all diseases. Just in case, my doctor gave me:
1) Cefixin: 400mg 1 time But it didn’t help
Then I took more antibiotics to kill all possible bacteria
2) Cefixin: 400mg 1 time/day for 7 days
3) Doxicidin: 250mg 2 times/day for 7 days
4) Flagul: 250mg 2 times/day for 7 days There was no change
Then I took
5) Flucanozole: 4 tablets I felt a little better but then it came back again.
I still had a strong non-stop burning in my urethra, it felt a little better right after urinating, and then it would start to burn again.
I’ve gotten a lot of urine tests done, like: The PCR DNA test, the Culture test, and many others. All results came negative.
I have got cystoscopy with an urologist, and he assigned me Metranidozole.
Then I continued my treatment with:
6) Metranidozole: 2 mg 1 time/day for 5 days Which really increased my burning sensation. It was unbelievably painful.
Then my doctor assigned me:
7) Ciprofloxacin: 500mg 2 times/day for 10 days After four days, I felt really good, but then on the 5th day everything came back. (Non-stop terrible burning sensation in my urethra) Then I took:
8) Macrobit 2 tables/ 6 days
9) Voltrex to treat possible viruses, but there was no change.
All of this medication showed no change.
Then I gave up with the medication, because I could kill my liver.
In April 2008, I started to feel pain in my testicles
From April to mid October I felt a non-stop light burning in my urethra, and a light testicle pain at all times. At the end of October, I started to urinate very often, and I received a pain in my bladder, and the burning sensation in my urethra became stronger. The pain in my testicles also increased, and I had a strong pain in my prostate gland. It was driving me crazy, and I didn’t’ know what to do. During this whole times, I’ve seen two urologists, two Infection Disease Specialists, and three family doctors. Nobody knew what it was, and how to treat it.
I started my own research, and the only explanation for what is going on with me, is that I’ve picked up an L-form bacteria. (gonorrhea, Chlamydia or others)
All of my symptoms are still present, and I have no idea what to do. I would be so thankful if anybody could help me. Thanks, Oleg
Hi,
I understand you are highly anxious about this.
What other symptoms are associated with the condition?
Aside from the burning urethral pain , is there an increase in urinary frequency or change in the urine's character?
I suggest that a urine culture and culture of prostatic secretion be done. A urinalysis is not enough since culture will be used to guide treatment. Was this done in your case?
I suggest you complete the course of your antibiotics. This seems to be an infection. With regards to your fears of this being HIV, this does not fit the picture of HIV.
I suggest that you get a follow up consult once you have completed your medications.Refrain from any sexual activity until you have been properly diagnosed.
