Non bacterial prostatitis

My husband has been suffering from what the doctors call prostatitis for a year now.

We recently discovered some books that take a completely different view on the problem. If you have been diagnosed with non bacterial prostatitis we would recommend reading 'Teach Us to Sit Still' by Tim Parks and 'A headache in the pelvis' by Doctors Wise and Anderson.

It's still early days following the suggestions in these books, but it all seems to tie up, and we're hopeful this will give my husband some help. Better than the repeated courses of anto biotics and anti inflamatries that do nothing.

Hi,

I would suggest getting his semen cultured to determine what exactly is causing his prostatitis.  Urine cultures show nothing.
