Testing for STDs should be done, with a urethral swab or urine sample.
Without seeing the lesion, it is impossible to give a firm diagnosis. HPV, herpes, or syphilis can all be considered and tested for.
Folliculitis can also be present in that area. If this is suspected, appropriate antibiotic therapy should be given.
These lesions should be evaluated by a urologist or dermatologist.
