Odd feeling in tip of penis

About a year ago, a had a long bout with what was diagnosed as Non-specific urethritis. Doctors and hospitals tested me for everything under the sun and everything came back negative...doctors were stumped, I was stumped, our confusion resulted in me currently paying hospital bills and testing fees. The dull ache that occurred in the tip of my urethra was gone in about two weeks

Yesterday, I got home from an outing with my girlfriend at around 7:30 PM. While I was in the process of making dinner, I suddenly got pretty bad backache, it wasn't super intense pain, but it was discomforting enough to make me need to sit down. A few moments after sitting down, I had to go to the restroom and urinate. In the bathroom, all of a sudden, urine literally bursts hard and forcefully out of my urethra, which was a tad painful, and I had some pain for a few moments after urinating. There was no blood, no discharge, just a really intense stream of urine.

Now today, I have the same dull ache in the tip of my urethra that I had about a year ago. Is it possible for a strong stream of urine to have adverse effects on the tip of your urethra? What is wrong with my urethra? Is it possible that I passed a kidney stone without knowing that I had one (I did drink a 1.5 Liter of Sprite before the intense urination came)?

I have no pain urinating nor do I have any discharge. Just a strange feeling in the tip of my penis (head) when I press it between my fingers or if it rubs against more "rough fabric and materials" such as my jeans or shorts. And even that comes and goes...maybe this is all in my head?

No, it is not in your head.

And yes, it is possible that you actually passed a kidney stone.  Kidney stones can be as small as a grain of sand and can be missed on imaging tests when they so small.

Did you ever have any imaging done to check your urinary tract?  As there are 4 different types of kidney stones, some can get picked up on routine xrays, some by ultrasound scan or other imaging.

Urinate into a clean clear jar so that you can examine and smell your urine.
See your other post with my reply.

You may have an allergy to the fabrics that you are wearing, detergents or fabric conditioners.

Don't use normal soap; use non perfumed soap, soap that has the same pH level as our skin, baby washes may be fine.  Use latex free condoms.
Avoid manmade fabrics, wear cotton.

If you did not get a swab taken from the tip of the penis to be analysed by the laboratory, this may be a good idea to get done.

If you continue to get the pain after ejaculation, ask your doctor to refer you to a urologist.  Did you get your prostate checked?  If not that may be a good idea to have done.

See your other post with my reply with regard to good hygiene.

Let me know how you get on.
Best wishes.

Quick update: The only "pain" I feel is after ejaculation it seems. No pain whatsoever while urinating.
