Only one kidney working

Male 27 HepB positive for 8 years not active.
Discovered that I have only one kidney working.Second kideny (left) is full of cysts and it doesnt work probably since birth.
I dont have problems with blood pressure.
Question is if removing the bad kidney is needed or I can lilve with it since its pretty serious operation. Also I have kind of soapy urine but not all the time. Is it normal for one kidney man?
Also ANA test was positibe for 1:100  and all kidney test were negative for working kidney and within normal range.
Please advice.

The answer would depend on the size of the cysts and whether they are increasing.  Typically cysts larger than 3cm, or are increasing, should warrant consideration in removing the kidney.

Regarding soapy urine, you may want to obtain a urinalysis to evaluate for any protein in the urine.  If present, a referral to a nephrologist (kidney specialist) can be considered to further evaluation of kidney disease.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
