Hi,

Passing of stones usually irritate the lining of the urinary tract and slight pain and irritation may be noted at this point.

Have you been diagnosed with a stone before?

With regards to how long these symptoms will last, there is really no definite information on this. This should vary from person to person and other factors as well eg size and number of the stones and underlying infections.

If the symptoms worsen and do not improve in a week's time then you should seek consult with your physician for proper evaluation.Take lots of water and engage in mild to moderate exercises daily.
