PROLONGED TESTICULAR TORSION?

Hi I'm Mike, I'm 18 yrs old right now and when i was 12 my friend accidentally kicked me at my testicles, after that my left testicle had swollen and doubled it size and i could remember it was very painful. Then days have passed the pain is gone but my testicle and scrotum had changed it appearance and its kinda not normal my scrotum became very soft and my testicles became smaller, and ever since for 7 years i constantly having like random pains (not very painful more on irritation and my left testicle is like kinda changing its position) at my testicles. I also having problem in finding a comfortable position while sleeping or even sitting.

I really didn't care about back then cause i was young but now it kinda bothers me cause i just realized it is not normal and i suspected that i had a testicular torsion back then and prolonged it for 7 years.

My questions:

Is this could be testicular torsion?
and if it is, Is it for sure that my testicles will be both removed cauze the torsion is prolonged?
Is my case that serious?

and if it is not torsion what could it be?

I'm sorry if i had many questions cause i just want to know if it is really serious before i take an action/or it is a must because I'm currently in college and very busy and i don't want to interrupt my studies, it kinda bothers me cause its been so long.

Why isn't it possible to thin injectabel testosterone, so a insulin syringe could be used.  Much cheaper than the  patch.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Torsion is not the most likely result of your trauma. Your testicle may well have been ruptured by the trauma or experienced a severe inflammation and has ultimately atrophied. Now it has reduced function. The long term intermittent tenderness is common. Your other testicle most likely has continued to develop normally and may well have enlarged more than normal as a result. You need not do anything special as regards your testicles except protect the remaining good one well; wear a rigid cup for contact sports.
