PSA 1.5 - 7 WEEKS AFTER SURGERY

Is this a reason for concern?

Hi,

PSA levels vary with increasing age.
A few details regarding age of the individual, type of surgery, and the problem prior to surgery would go along way toward determining whether the reported PSA level is abnormal.

However, a PSA level of 1.5 ng/ml is within the normal range for any age group.
To check for improvement, it would be best to correlate this finding with the PSA levels that were reported prior to intervention.
