PSA test

by alleycat2, Nov 06, 2009 10:26AM
I am a 73 year old male. I have been told my prostate is a little on the hard side but not enlarged. It seems once a year my PSA test goes from 1.3 to 3.8. My doctor gives me sulfa drugs. The test returns to normal.  He says I have an infection . I hate to take extra drug as I am on enough for heart problems. Would it be bad to live with this I think I have had this most of my life.
