Pain and lumb

I am 20 years old and have a lump in my left testicle that has been there for a few years and may have slightly increased but not too much. My left testicle is also larger than my right. About a month ago my left testicle was painful for about three days and then stopped hurting. About a week ago it started hurting but stopped after a few days. It started hurting today but no longer hurts tonight. I'm a little worried that it is cancer but am wondering what else it could be. Thank you so much for any info.
