Pain during Erection

Pain during erection. The pain is located in the head of the penis during erection. Noticed within last 30 days. The best way to describe it is to say. It feels like the erection is bigger than the penis can handle.

Hi Greg, I have reason to sympathize for you. I have had pain like you described in the past. But now I have too much pain in mine to even try sex anymore. I've been getting erections in my sleep that don't let up, they continue too long of time and keep causing small amount of injury in my penis and that led to more and more fibrosis and other scarring to set in. So my penis is suffering nightly from these abnormally long lasting erections, called "reccurent/stuttering priapism". Several urologists that examined me and many tests and scans all indicated that my penis has fibrosis and even a plaque the size of a peanut. These can get really bad if ignored too many months. The docs advised me to avoid having erections since they provoke the faster formation of more fibrosis and plaques. I hope you find help and that a treatment or therapy is suitable for you, and that you don't get permanent or persistent problems. Bhupinder sounds familiar with priapism.
I'd be sure to note the duration of time that your erections have lasted, 4hrs is definately bad for a penis but repeated ones lasting 1 or more hours each are what I learned to also be wary of.

Hello,
The cause of erectile pain are Peyronie's disease, penile mass, priapism( continuous erection which lasts for more than 4 hours and does not end in ejaculation) , phimosis and penile Injury. In peyronie’s disease , there’s a bending of the penis, thickening/hard nodules in the penis which can be felt and is usually associated with pain. My sincere advice would be to consult a urologist. Treatment can involve injection of certain medications into the plaque, radiation therapy or surgery.
Hope it helps. Take care and regards.
