Pain in Testicle

Hi there

I am 17 years old and I have had a pain in my right testicle for about 3 days or so. Basically it just appeared out of nowhere. The pain isn't to the point where it's stopping me from going about my day to day business, I'm not in really bad pain with it. I have checked myself out a few times for any signs of lumps but I can't see anything. When I touch my testicles though they are generally more sensitive than usual and I get a slight pain. Also, there has been no blood in my fluids. The pain isn't there all the time, it will come on me randomly though. I know I should go see a Doctor but I just wanted an opinion on here aswell.

Thanks for your help.

you need to see a doctor to make sure you know exactly what it is before you start taking medication for anything unless it doesnt hurt anymore like i said maybe you just strained your self or something

like i said im no doctor only you know how much pain your really in but if it is a std or epiditimytus yes it is serious not life threatning but the pain will only get worse you can cure it with antibiotics such as cypro which is what they gave me but you need to see a doc to see how serious it is maybe its nothing maybe you just strained your self lifting something but better safe than sorry good luck

sounds like you could have a infection in your testicle this can be caused by an std if you had any unprotected sex i would suggest you go get tested for std's also you could have epiditimytus which is a infection in your epidimal tubes that are right above your testicles dont get me wrong im no doctor im sure it could be a number of things but i had a similar  pain in my right testicle about a year ago and it was caused by epditimytus this can be treated with antibiotics you should see a doctor right away because the pain starts of mild but if untreated it can get really painful trust me go see a doc

To add, the pain feels sharp generally, but I can still go about my business. It's not excruciating pain but it is very uncomfortable.
