Pain in groin

I am a 20 years old man, for past 3 weeks I have been having pain on top of my left testicle, I have already went to doctor 2 times and I have been on antibiotics for about 2 weeks, but the pain has not gone away. In addition I have no problem urinating, ejaculating or anything else. however few days ago I pin pointed where exactly the pain was originating, I found that my left Vas Deferens was kind of swallowen and every time I toucht it the pain increased.

I only have pain and that's it.
does anybody have the same symptoms?

does anybody what it could be?

I have also been diagnosed with Epidiymitis and have been dealing with the pain and inflammation coming and going. Just pain and inflammation no other symtoms. It has been 7 weeks now and it's starting to get a little disheartening because it seems like as soon as I think I am feeling normal the pain sets in again. I have taken cipro and doxycycline. The only thing that seems to help me is ibuprofin.  Yesterday I tried to take diflucane thinking I might have a yeast infection instead of a bacterial infection. I did not notice any significant improvement. Have gone to urologist and they are very unconcerned stating that they have seen much worse cases and that mine is very mild. As mild a case that I have it still is a huge burden on my well being. I too just want to feel normal again.

hi, im 19 and i have been diagnosed with epididymitis as well. the groin pain you refer to is exactly what i have been experiencing however mine seems to come and go, i also have no discharge painful urination or ejaculation. i have been on a 7 day course of doxycycline and am now on a 5 day course of cipro. today will mark the 3 week period since i was cursed with this abomination and i seem to have gotten better but only to a certain point. i still feel a tenderness in my epididymus and that groin pain you described i am hoping that it will clear up after a week or two. i wish you luck and may we both find a resolution to this mess

Hi,
Thanks for writing in. Pain in the upper, posterior portion of the testicle corresponds to epididymitis or epididymal cyst infection. A scrotal ultrasound with physical examination by a urologist would confirm the cause. In both cases a appropriate course of antibiotics could help in clearing the infection.
Best.
