Pain in kidney area

   I have been having a burning ache in the lower left area of my my back. It has been like this for about three days. Also when I feel like I have to use the bathroom it's like I can't hold it for very long at all and when I do finaly go it burns just a little bit and my urine is pungent and concentrated. I don't know if there is somthing wrong or what?

We cannot make a diagnosis over the internet, but from the genitourinary standpoint  you may be passing a kidney stone or have  an infection of the kidney.  An infection of the kidney is called pyelonephritis and you should have a fever, and may become quite ill.  I would recommend a medical evaluation from your family doctor soon.  He/ she will check your urine for infection and possibly order Xrays looking for passing kidney stones.
