Pain in testicles

I was hoping someone could possible explain what the following symptoms might possibly be. I've never had

anything like it before :(

Recently I met a girl and we went on a date, we spent much of the date kissing, but after a few hours of

kissing (and me becoming aroused off and on throughout the night) I felt a lot of pain around my testicles

and in my lower back. I have not had this problem being aroused when I'm alone. The pain lasted for several

hours and my testicles were extremely painful to touch, thankfully in the morning the pain was gone.

The next we day we met up and did the same sort of thing in the evening again, kissing for several hours.

From kissing and becoming aroused, stopping for a bit, and then kissing and becoming aroused again (and so

on) for a period of several hours, the pain returned, but MUCH worse this time. I was in so much pain that I

could barely walk or sit down (forcing me to embarrassingly explain my symptoms to my date!).

When I got home I examined myself and found that both testicles and the area around them was extremely tender

and very painful whereever I touched. The pain again seemed to extended to my lower back. My penis was not

sore. The plain lasted for several hours and only seemed to abate (if only slightly) when I got the desire to

urinate (which I hadn't done had all night, despite drinking alcohol, which struck me as weird).

I have since masterbated and had no pain whatsoever. I'm deeply perplexed by this and have organized an

appointment with my GP, but since it's not for a few days I was wondering if I could get some ideas on what

it might possibly be.

Tough to say without examination.  Infection would have to be ruled out - a urine sample can evaluate for a UTI as well as STDs such as gonorrhea or chlamydia.  

If infection has been ruled out, there are a variety of other scrotal abnormalities - such as torsion, or a testicular mass, that can also cause increased sensitivity and pain.  A scrotal ultrasound should be considered to evaluate these possibilities.
